BLKTEC Warranty Information:

BLKTEC warrants all products manufactured to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of two years after original date of purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner.

Crash Replacement Policy

In case of non-manufacturing related issues BLKTEC will support you by offering a replacement rim for half the retail price.

Returning a BLKTEC product:

Any return to BLKTEC for examination is the responsibility of the customer who will ensure that the product’s packaging is appropriate, that the product is insured, if necessary, and that the shipping costs are paid. Don’t forget to include the invoice with the wheel, as well as your name, address, email address and phone number.

IMPORTANT: If you return your wheel to BLKTEC, please make sure you’ve removed the tubular or clincher tire, without the sprockets and without the quick release skewer.

Warranty Limitation

The BLKTEC warranty exclusively covers the manufacturing defects of its products and excludes, notably, from its inspection any damage, prejudice and, more generally, any direct or indirect consequence which would result from bad use or failure to respect user instructions, the lack of maintenance or improper use of the product.

The BLKTEC warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is defined as damage as a result of normal use and riding in conditions / usage for applications other than those recommended.

Wear and Tear parts identified as

•  Brake pads.
•  Brake surface of tubular and clincher rims.
•  Ball bearings

 IMPORTANT:

Always use BLKTEC carbon brake pads when using BLKTEC full carbon wheels. Do not forget to change your carbon brake pads when intending to ride with wheels with a brake surface other than carbon. Debris from the brake surface might get stuck in the carbon brake pads which will result in unrepairable damage to your full carbon rim. Not following this instruction will void warranty.
