The Tensione is a lightweight road cycling shoe built for training, racing, and long road rides where you want a firm, supportive fit without your toes feeling squashed. It uses UDOG’s Tension Wrap System, which wraps the foot from the bottom to the top to help hold the metatarsal area securely through the pedal stroke.

It’s designed to feel snug and supportive when you’re pushing and pulling on the pedals, not sloppy or loose through the middle of the foot.

The fit is built around a generous toe box for comfort at the front, with a deep, narrow heel cup to help keep the foot stable when riding hard.

Good option if you want

A clean black road shoe that’s light, stiff enough for proper riding, and a bit more considered in fit than a basic entry-level road shoe.

This is a 3-bolt road cycling shoe, so it suits road pedal systems such as Shimano SPD-SL, Look Keo, and similar 3-bolt cleat setups. It is not for 2-bolt SPD MTB/gravel cleats.

How to check your size

Before ordering, measure your feet rather than guessing from your usual shoe size.

Put a piece of paper against a wall.
Stand on it with your heel lightly touching the wall.
Mark the longest point of your foot.
Measure from the wall/heel edge to that mark in millimetres.
Check that measurement against the UDOG size chart.

UDOG’s size chart uses foot length in millimetres. For example, size 43 is listed for 272–277mm

If you’re between sizes, consider how you like your cycling shoes to fit and whether you use thicker socks. Cycling shoes should feel secure, but not like they’re trying to start a fight with your toes.
