UDOG Distanza Gravel Shoe Ash Grey | Last Pair | Unisex

The UDOG Distanza is a gravel and off-road cycling shoe for riders who want a secure pedalling feel, but still need grip and walkability when the ride gets a bit less “smooth tarmac” and a bit more “where has the road gone?”

It uses UDOG’s Tension Wrap System, which wraps around the metatarsal area of the foot to help hold the shoe securely through the pedal stroke. That means less foot movement inside the shoe when you’re climbing, pushing over rough sections, or putting power down out of the saddle.

The big difference from a road shoe is the outsole. The Distanza has a rubber outsole that wraps over the toe and around the heel for extra protection and durability, with lugs designed to give better traction when you’re off the bike. Handy for gravel stops, café floors, hike-a-bike sections, muddy car parks, and those “this track looked better on the map” moments.

This is a 2-bolt SPD-compatible shoe, so it suits gravel, MTB, touring, commuting, and adventure riding setups. It is not for 3-bolt road cleats such as Shimano SPD-SL or Look Keo.

Good option if you want

A gravel shoe that feels more performance-focused than a casual SPD shoe, but more practical off the bike than a road shoe.

It’s a good fit for mixed-surface riding, gravel loops, commuting, bikepacking-style adventures, and riders who want one shoe that can handle riding hard and walking without doing the awkward road-cleat shuffle.

Fit note

UDOG shoes are sized in EU sizing, so don’t just guess based on your normal sneaker size.

Measure your foot length in millimetres and check it against the size chart before ordering. Cycling shoes should feel secure through the midfoot and heel, but you still want enough room at the front that your toes aren’t being punished for taking up space.

How to measure your feet
Place a piece of paper against a wall.
Stand on the paper with your heel lightly touching the wall.
Mark the longest point of your foot.
Measure from the wall edge to the mark in millimetres.
Compare that number with the UDOG size chart.

Do both feet. Annoyingly, one foot is often slightly bigger than the other. Use the larger measurement.
