Review: Magicshine Allty 1000 Daytime Running Light

Posted by Trevor Barrett on

Be safe and be seen on the roads while cycling. One of our most popular cycling lights is the Magicshine ALLTY 1000. It's an all-in-one high-powerful bike front light with a beautiful design, it can also be used as a helmet light. Especially useful on shorter winter days where it can get dark all of a sudden on your ride home for example.

My favourite
"Allty1000 is my favorite for road and path use. It has very good runtimes and for most that period out performs the 1500 version for slightly less money. It also is my favorite for helmet use because of its output consistency over the 1500. Easy to see why the Allty1000 has received such great reviews." Richard

Some of its features include:

  • Independent daytime running light
  • 1000 lumens of max output
  • Latest 21700 cell (3.6v, 4000mAh)
  • Runtime: 1.8-28.5 Hours
  • Garmin base mount
  • Different versatile straps secure it to all common and aero handlebar sizes.

Hugely impressive
"Tried the Allty 1000 today and it’s hugely impressive, it’s actually 2 lights in one. The urban light is bright enough to light up the wet and cold commute through towns whilst being friendly enough as not to blind any on coming traffic. Then if you fancy taking a detour through some woods or darker streets, turn on the main light and it’ll light up the tracks ahead. It’s lightweight design also makes it a perfect helmet ligh should you require more than 1000 lumes from your main light."
